The Linder Academy was founded in 2009 by Becka Linder, a Minneapolis native and an alum of the Juilliard School Drama Division to be a place where classical and contemporary theater can find a voice in the new generation. Based in Minneapolis, Becka's vision is to create a Performing Arts academy based in the midwest to rival the fine institutions on the coasts. The Academy merged with Blue Water Theater to form the Conservatory in the fall of 2010.
